Albion Rrahmani Set for Serie A Move as Venezia Agree €9.5 Million Deal
Kosovo international striker Albion Rrahmani is on the verge of fulfilling another major milestone in his remarkable career after multiple reports confirmed that newly promoted Serie A side Venezia have reached a full agreement with Sparta Prague for his transfer.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb, and several other Italian media outlets, Venezia will pay €7.5 million upfront, with an additional €2 million in performance-related bonuses, bringing the total package to €9.5 million. The agreement also includes a 10 percent sell-on clause, ensuring Sparta Prague will benefit from any future transfer.
The move represents another significant step in the rapid rise of one of Kosovo's brightest football stars.
From Kosovo to Europe's Top League
Rrahmani, who turns 26 next month, has enjoyed an extraordinary journey through European football.
The powerful centre-forward first made his name with KF Ballkani, helping the club win multiple domestic trophies while finishing as the Kosovo Superleague's top scorer during the 2022–23 campaign.
His goals earned him a move to Rapid București in Romania for just €600,000, where he quickly established himself as one of the league's most dangerous strikers. He scored 18 goals in 28 appearances, winning widespread praise and recognition as one of the competition's standout foreign players.
His performances convinced Sparta Prague to invest €5 million in the summer of 2024.
Success in Prague
Rrahmani continued to impress in the Czech Republic.
Last season, he registered 16 goals and four assists in 49 competitive matches, while also showcasing his abilities on the European stage by scoring four goals in 13 UEFA Conference League appearances. He also featured in the UEFA Champions League, gaining valuable experience against elite European opposition.
Across his spell with Sparta Prague, he developed into one of the club's most reliable attacking weapons thanks to his consistent finishing, intelligent movement, and physical presence.
Ready for the Serie A Challenge
Standing 1.88 metres (6 ft 2 in) tall, Rrahmani combines strength, aerial dominance, intelligent positioning, and clinical finishing, making him an ideal fit for Italian football.
Venezia secured promotion back to Serie A after winning the Serie B title last season and are preparing for their return to Italy's top flight under head coach Giovanni Stroppa.
The club views Rrahmani as a key addition capable of leading the attack against some of Europe's strongest defenses.
Kosovo's Rising Star
On the international stage, Rrahmani has become an increasingly important player for Kosovo since making his senior debut in September 2023.
He has already scored seven goals in 25 international appearances, adding one assist, and has established himself as one of the national team's primary attacking threats.

The move to Venezia marks another landmark achievement for Albanian football in Kosovo. After proving himself in Kosovo, Romania, and the Czech Republic, Albion Rrahmani is now set to test his talent in one of the world's most prestigious leagues.
If completed as expected, the transfer will become one of the biggest moves involving a Kosovar striker in recent years and offers Rrahmani the opportunity to establish himself on the Serie A stage while continuing his impressive rise through European football.
