Asllani Set to Leave Inter as Al-Jazira Submit Offer for Albanian Midfielder

Kristjan Asllani could continue his career in the United Arab Emirates. The Albanian international midfielder is not part of head coach Cristian Chivu’s technical plans and is among the players Inter are looking to move on during the transfer window.

Al-Jazira, a club competing in the UAE Pro League, have expressed concrete interest in the 24-year-old and are attempting to complete the transfer through accelerated negotiations.

Verbal Agreement Between the Clubs

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter and Al-Jazira have already reached a verbal agreement over Asllani’s transfer.

The proposed formula includes a paid loan worth €2 million and an option to buy for €6.5 million. That option could become mandatory if certain conditions included in the agreement are met.

The parties are working on the final details, while the Albanian midfielder has reportedly opened the door to the move. A lucrative contract has also been prepared for him.

Outside Inter’s Plans

Asllani joined Inter from Empoli but was unable to establish himself as a regular starter. He initially had to compete with Marcelo Brozović and later with Hakan Çalhanoğlu for the holding-midfield role.

After loan spells with Torino and Beşiktaş, the Albanian midfielder returned to Milan but is not considered part of the Nerazzurri’s new technical project.

Inter would prefer a permanent transfer but are also prepared to accept the formula proposed by Al-Jazira.

His Most Recent Experience in Turkey

During his most recent spell with Beşiktaş, Asllani made 33 appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Monza had previously shown interest in signing him, but the offer from the United Arab Emirates currently appears to be the most concrete option. Further developments are expected soon, with the transfer potentially being completed once a final agreement is reached with the player.
