Bratu Targets Victory Against Laçi: “We Must Dominate and Fight for All Three Points”

Partizani are preparing for their next match against Laçi with the clear objective of securing their first victory of the season.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, head coach Florin Bratu revealed that he has not yet decided on his starting lineup. One confirmed absentee is Human, who was shown a red card in the opening match against Teuta.

Starting Lineup Yet to Be Decided

Asked what kind of Partizani he expects to see against Laçi, Bratu confirmed that he will wait until the final moments before selecting his starting eleven.

“We will wait until tomorrow because we still have a few problems. Human will be unavailable after receiving a red card. I have not yet decided on the starting lineup, but we still have another day, and I will choose the players who will take the field at the right moment,” Bratu said.

“We Showed Spirit and Character Against Teuta”

Partizani were held to a goalless draw by Teuta in their opening match despite playing for approximately 60 minutes with ten men.

Bratu praised his team’s response and fighting spirit but stressed that he expects more against Laçi.

“What pleased me against Teuta was the team’s spirit, and that is very important to me as a coach. We played for 60 minutes with one player fewer. Human is a very important player for us. I liked the team’s performance because we showed character,” the Partizani coach said.

The Objective Against Laçi: Dominate and Win

The Romanian coach made no attempt to hide his objective for the upcoming match. Partizani respect Laçi, but they want to take advantage of playing at home and collect all three points.

“In our next match against Laçi, we want to dominate and win. We respect Laçi, but we are playing another match at home and we need the points. For that reason, we must fight,” Bratu declared.

The coach added that the team had carefully prepared for the match throughout the week.

“Every opponent has its strengths and weaknesses. We will see tomorrow what the situation will be. It is important for us to perform better than we did against Teuta.”

Dion Vata, an Example for Partizani’s Academy

Bratu also spoke positively about Dion Vata, a player developed through Partizani’s academy.

“I am very pleased for him because he is a player who grew up here at Partizani. I believe and hope that he can become an example for all the other players in Partizani’s academy,” the coach said.

The Romanian made it clear that he enjoys giving opportunities to young players, but it is now up to Vata to continue working seriously.

“I really enjoy promoting young players. Now it depends on Vata to continue training seriously because Partizani, as well as Albanian football, could gain a very good player.”

Fadairo Will Join Partizani

Bratu confirmed that Fadairo remains part of Partizani’s plans and will soon join the squad.

“Fadairo is our player, and I am very happy with him and with what he has shown so far. In the coming days, he will join us and continue with our training programme,” the coach explained.

“We Want to Build a Very Strong Partizani”

Bratu said he was pleased with the way his players had responded during training sessions but admitted that he expects even more from the team in the future.

“At this moment, I am satisfied, but I want to be even more satisfied in the future. All the players are responding very well in training, and we share the desire to build a very strong Partizani,” Bratu said.

For the head coach, the first step is to create a team with character and a strong fighting spirit.

“First, we must build a team that gives everything. That is very important to me.”

Transfer Market Can Wait

Asked about possible activity in the transfer market, the Partizani coach preferred not to elaborate, emphasizing that his attention is entirely focused on the match against Laçi.

“I do not want to think about the transfer market. I am focused only on tomorrow’s match against Laçi,” Florin Bratu concluded.

Following the draw against Teuta, Partizani are now looking to take the next step. The coach’s message is clear: greater dominance, more fighting spirit, and a determined battle for all three points.
