BREAKING NEWS: Inter offer €18 million plus Kristjan Asllani for Moussa Diaby
According to Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah, Inter have presented Al-Ittihad with an offer of €18 million plus Kristjan Asllani’s transfer rights. The Albanian midfielder is reportedly valued at between €10 million and €15 million as part of the proposed exchange.
Italian transfer-specialist website Calciomercato.com has revealed a major development in Inter Milan’s transfer activity involving Albania international Kristjan Asllani.
According to the latest reports, the Nerazzurri have renewed their interest in French winger Moussa Diaby, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.
Inter also attempted to sign Diaby during the January transfer window but were unable to find the right formula to complete the deal.
Head coach Cristian Chivu has requested reinforcements on the wings, identifying that area as one of the squad’s main weaknesses ahead of the new season.
Following the failed move for Marco Palestra and the breakdown of talks for Anan Khalaili, Inter directors Giuseppe Marotta, Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin have reportedly returned to the Diaby option.

His inclusion in the proposed Diaby deal could open the door to a new chapter in the Saudi Pro League. However, it remains unclear whether the Albania international would agree to join Al-Ittihad.
Diaby, born in 1999 and of Malian descent, primarily operates on the right wing despite being left-footed.
The French international has previously represented Paris Saint-Germain, Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa. Al-Ittihad paid approximately €60 million to sign him from the Premier League club in 2024.
The biggest obstacle for Inter is Diaby’s lucrative salary in Saudi Arabia. To return to European football, he would reportedly need to accept a significant pay cut, reducing his annual salary to around €4–5 million.
For now, this remains a reported offer rather than a completed agreement.
However, Asllani’s possible inclusion makes it one of the most intriguing developments in Inter’s summer transfer window and a potentially decisive moment in the Albanian midfielder’s career.
