Como Attack the Transfer Market: Moise Kean Bid Submitted, Samuele Ricci Also Targeted
Como are preparing their final transfer-market moves to provide head coach Cesc Fàbregas with a squad capable of competing in Serie A and making a strong impression in the Champions League.
Strengthening the attack remains the club’s priority, with Moise Kean at the top of the management’s shortlist.
The Lombardy club have submitted their first official offer for the Fiorentina striker. The proposed package is worth €30 million: a €5 million loan fee followed by a €25 million obligation to buy.
Fiorentina rejected the opening offer, considering it insufficient. The Viola do not want to lose one of their most important players unless they receive an irresistible proposal.
Some reports suggest that Fiorentina are demanding between €40 million and €45 million. Como must now decide whether to increase their offer or turn their attention to another attacking target.
Despite the initial rejection, negotiations are considered open. Kean remains Fàbregas’ preferred choice as the Spanish coach searches for a powerful and quick striker capable of making a difference at the highest level of European football.
Meanwhile, another name has entered Como’s plans: Samuele Ricci.
The Italian midfielder has not officially been placed on AC Milan’s transfer list, but he could become available if the right financial conditions are met.
According to the latest reports, Ricci is among the midfielders being considered by Como. However, a concrete move may only become possible if one of the club’s current midfielders leaves.
Como’s interest in Ricci is also linked to the need to meet UEFA squad-registration requirements for Italian-trained players. The 24-year-old has extensive Serie A experience, excellent playmaking ability and the quality to control the tempo of a match.
Milan do not appear willing to approve a simple loan. The Rossoneri would prefer a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy, allowing them to protect the investment made when signing him from Torino.
For the moment, the Ricci option remains a serious idea rather than an advanced negotiation. The situation could change during the final days of the transfer window, particularly if Como complete some midfield departures.
The club’s ambitions are clear. Following the progress achieved under Fàbregas, Como want to build an even more competitive squad.
Moise Kean for the attack and Samuele Ricci for the midfield represent two high-level targets. It remains to be seen whether Como’s management can turn these ideas into completed transfers.
