Ohrid, North Macedonia – FC Dinamo City continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season and its European campaign. The Albanian club has officially announced the signing of Kosovan attacker Almir Ajzeraj, who becomes the latest addition to Ilir Daja’s team.

The club confirmed that the player has signed his contract and immediately joined the squad in Ohrid, where Dinamo City is currently holding its pre-season training camp.

Ajzeraj arrives from FC Drita, where he spent several successful seasons and gained valuable international experience. Last season, he represented Drita in the UEFA Conference League group stage, showcasing his quality on the European stage.

Player Profile

Born on October 5, 1997, in Pristina, Kosovo, Ajzeraj is 28 years old and primarily operates as a left winger. However, he is capable of playing on both flanks of the attack as well as in the attacking midfield role as a No. 10.

Standing at 1.72 meters tall and naturally left-footed, he is known for his pace, technical ability, creativity, and attacking versatility.

From Kosovo to Albania and Back Again

Ajzeraj began his professional career with KF Flamurtari in the Kosovo Superliga during the 2016-17 season.

In 2018, he moved to Albanian side KF Skënderbeu Korçë, signing a four-year contract. He later had a short loan spell with KF Ballkani before joining FC Drita in January 2020.

Over six years with Drita, Ajzeraj established himself as one of the club’s key players, wearing the No. 7 shirt and contributing significantly to the team's domestic and European success.

Dinamo City's Ambitions

The signing of Ajzeraj underlines Dinamo City's ambitions for the upcoming season. Club president Adrian Bardhi is working intensively to fulfill the requests of head coach Ilir Daja, with the goal of building a squad capable of competing at the highest level both in Albania and in European competitions.

Sources close to the club suggest that Dinamo's transfer business is not finished yet, with more quality signings expected in the coming weeks.

International Experience

Ajzeraj has also represented Kosovo U21, making appearances during the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification campaign, adding further international experience to his profile.

With his arrival, Dinamo City gains an important attacking weapon, while the club's supporters will hope that the Kosovan winger can bring goals, assists, and valuable European experience to help achieve the team's ambitious objectives.

Welcome to the Blue Family, Almir Ajzeraj!
