Leão Doesn’t Like “Turkish Soap Operas” — He Wants the Premier League

Rafael Leão does not appear convinced by the idea of continuing his career in Türkiye. Although Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe have shown concrete interest, the Portuguese star has his sights set elsewhere: the Premier League.

According to English journalist Ben Jacobs, Leão’s representatives, together with Jorge Mendes, have contacted several English clubs to explore the possibility of a transfer.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Leeds United are among the clubs that have reportedly been offered the AC Milan forward.

Arsenal is reportedly one of Leão’s preferred destinations, while Manchester United could also become an attractive option if the right conditions develop in the transfer market.

The biggest obstacle is financial. Milan are demanding a significant fee for Leão, while the player’s high salary expectations make any potential deal even more complicated.

Meanwhile, Leão has returned to Milan and is working under Rúben Amorim. He also featured in the second half of the friendly derby against Inter, showing a professional attitude despite the uncertainty surrounding his future.

Amorim is attempting to fully reintegrate Leão into the squad while the transfer window remains open.

So, the “soap opera” continues — but Leão appears to have already chosen where he wants the next episode to take place:

🇹🇷 Türkiye? No, thank you. 🏴 Premier League? Yes, please!
