TIRANA – FK Partizani has officially announced the appointment of Romanian coach Florin Daniel Bratu as the club's new head coach for the 2026–2027 season. The 46-year-old manager was officially presented by club president Gazment Demi, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the "Red Bulls."

Bratu has signed a 1+1-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional season. Club officials believe his experience, tactical philosophy, and leadership will form the foundation of an ambitious new project aimed at returning Partizani to the title race and establishing the club as a strong contender in European competitions.

A Respected Name in Romanian Football

Florin Daniel Bratu is one of the most recognizable figures in Romanian football. As a player, he was a prolific striker and represented the Romanian National Team on 14 occasions.

During his playing career, he featured for several prestigious clubs, including Dinamo București, Rapid București, Galatasaray, Nantes, and Valenciennes.

Thanks to his clinical finishing ability and instinct in front of goal, Bratu earned the nickname "Mitraliera" (The Machine Gun).

A Wealth of Coaching Experience

Following his retirement as a player, Bratu transitioned into coaching, building an impressive résumé in Romania and Cyprus.

His managerial career includes spells with:

Romania U-18 National Team Dinamo București, where he achieved his best managerial average of 1.83 points per match Romania U-21 National Team Karmiotissa FC (Cyprus), where he successfully guided the club to safety from relegation CS Dinamo București, leading the club back to Romania's Second Division Metaloglobus București, before accepting Partizani's offer

Overall, Bratu has managed more than 130 professional matches during his coaching career.

Tactical Philosophy

The Romanian coach is well known for his preference for the 4-2-3-1 formation, emphasizing balanced midfield play, quick transitions, and attacking football through the wings.

Another hallmark of Bratu's coaching philosophy is his commitment to developing young talent. Throughout his career, he has consistently promoted academy players into first-team football, particularly during his time at Dinamo București.

His First Challenge in Albania

Bratu's appointment marks his first managerial experience in Albanian football. Following Partizani's fifth-place finish in the Kategoria Superiore last season, the club's management has entrusted the Romanian tactician with rebuilding the squad and leading a new era at the club.

According to sources close to the club, Partizani is already working alongside Bratu to strengthen the squad during the summer transfer window. The priority is to sign a winger and a central defender who fit his preferred 4-2-3-1 tactical system.

With this appointment, FK Partizani aims to begin a new cycle focused on returning to the top of Albanian football while making a strong impact in European competitions.
