Partizani Defeat Skënderbeu in Pogradec as Skuka and Human Find the Net

FK Partizani secured a 2–0 victory over KF Skënderbeu in a friendly match played on July 26, 2026, at the “Gjorgji Kyçyku” Stadium in Pogradec.

The Reds scored once in each half, showing greater efficiency in front of goal.

The deadlock was broken in the 35th minute when captain Xhuliano Skuka converted a penalty to give Partizani a 1–0 lead.

Skënderbeu increased the pressure in the second half and created several promising opportunities to equalize. However, the Korçë-based side failed to capitalize on its chances.

Partizani weathered the pressure and sealed the victory in the 81st minute, when Rowan Human scored the second goal of the match.

As this was a preseason friendly, both coaches made numerous substitutions. They gave playing time to new signings, trialists, players returning from loan spells and several young academy prospects.

The match also provided an important test for coaches Florin Bratu and Julian Ahmataj. Bratu has taken charge of Partizani with the goal of bringing the championship title back to the club, while Ahmataj is leading Skënderbeu’s new project.

The match was played in Pogradec due to ongoing maintenance work at Skënderbeu’s home stadium in Korçë. Skënderbeu will continue its preseason preparations with friendly matches against Besa and Pogradec.
