PARTIZANI TIRANA TURNS TO FLORIN BRATU FOR A NEW ERA
TIRANA, Albania – FK Partizani Tirana has officially appointed Romanian coach Florin Bratu as the club’s new head coach, entrusting the experienced tactician with leading the Red Bulls into a new chapter ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 46-year-old arrives in the Albanian capital after a coaching career that has taken him through several clubs in Romania and Cyprus, as well as a spell in charge of Romania’s U-21 national team. Bratu replaces the previous coaching setup as Partizani looks to rebuild and challenge once again for domestic trophies and European qualification.
A holder of the UEFA Pro Licence, Bratu is known for favoring an attacking 4-2-3-1 formation, emphasizing quick transitions, disciplined defensive organization, and aggressive pressing in midfield.
His most recent assignment came with Metaloglobus București, where he was tasked with guiding the club through a difficult relegation battle in Romania’s top division. Prior to that, he enjoyed success at CS Dinamo București, helping the historic club secure promotion from the third tier to Liga II.
Bratu also gained valuable international experience during his time with Karmiotissa in Cyprus and while managing Romania’s Under-21 national team. Throughout his coaching career, he has also worked with Dinamo București, Concordia Chiajna, Turris Turnu Măgurele, and Aerostar Bacău.
Partizani officials believe Bratu’s experience, leadership, and modern football philosophy make him the ideal candidate to guide the club forward. Supporters will now be eager to see how the Romanian coach shapes the squad during the summer transfer window and prepares the team for the challenges of the upcoming campaign.
The appointment signals the beginning of a new sporting project at Partizani, with expectations high that Bratu can restore the club to the top of Albanian football and make an impact in European competitions.
For the Red Bulls, a new journey begins—and Florin Bratu is now the man tasked with leading the charge.
