Vinícius Jr. commits his future to Real Madrid until 2032
Vinícius Júnior has officially signed a new six-year contract with Real Madrid, keeping the Brazilian superstar at the Santiago Bernabéu until June 30, 2032.
The 26-year-old celebrated the agreement with an emotional message on Instagram:
“8 years at the Bernabeu are too short... 6 more years and forever!”
The renewal brings an end to months of speculation surrounding his future. With his previous deal approaching its final year, several major European clubs, including Arsenal, had been linked with the Brazilian.
A decisive meeting between Real Madrid officials and the player’s representatives reportedly helped finalize an improved agreement covering salary and image rights.
Vinícius is also set to take on greater responsibility at the club, serving as Real Madrid’s second captain for the 2026–27 season behind Federico Valverde.
Since arriving from Flamengo as an 18-year-old in 2018, Vinícius has developed into one of Real Madrid’s most influential players.
Across eight seasons with Los Blancos, he has recorded:
375 appearances 128 goals 100 assists 14 major trophies 3 La Liga titles 2 UEFA Champions League titles
Now, with his future secured until 2032, Vinícius has made his intentions clear: his story with Real Madrid is far from over.
Six more years — and, in his own words, “forever.” ⚪️🇧🇷
