Vora Earn Their First Victory on Bulgarian Soil, Halabaku Stars with a Brace

FK Vora secured their first victory during their pre-season training camp in Bansko, Bulgaria.

Arjan Bellai’s side defeated Bulgarian club FC Krumovgrad 3-0, producing a positive performance ahead of the new Abissnet Superiore season.

Kevin Halabaku was the standout player of the match. The 24-year-old forward scored twice, immediately showcasing his attacking qualities.

The other goal was scored by highly rated 19-year-old Briajan Gjyla, another of the club’s summer signings. The performances of the two new arrivals represent encouraging news for the coaching staff as they work to build a competitive squad.

The victory came after two defeats in Vora’s previous friendly matches. On July 18, they suffered a 2-0 loss against Israeli side Hapoel Haifa, before being narrowly beaten 1-0 by Romanian club Metalul Buzău on July 23.

The convincing win over Krumovgrad, combined with a clean sheet, gives Vora confidence and a valuable morale boost as their preparations continue.

Krumovgrad spent two seasons in the Bulgarian top flight but currently compete in the lower divisions following a difficult period marked by organizational and stadium-related problems.
