Serie A

By Elite Sport Vizion. By Albano Kolonjari ·

LECCE, Italy – After three memorable seasons in Serie A, Ylber Ramadani appears ready to begin a new chapter in his career. The Albanian international midfielder is on the verge of completing a move from U.S. Lecce to Turkish side Çorum FK, bringing to an end a successful spell with the Giallorossi.

Although the transfer is awaiting the final signatures, both clubs and the player have reportedly reached an agreement, with the deal expected to be worth approximately €1.2 million. As part of the agreement, 10 percent of the transfer fee will go to Scottish club Aberdeen, from whom Lecce signed Ramadani in the summer of 2023.

A Farewell Filled with Emotion

Before officially leaving Italy, Ramadani shared an emotional farewell message dedicated to the club, the city and the supporters who stood by him throughout his journey.

"Lecce, my home, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for these three years spent here. It feels as though I lived here for thirty years. I want to thank director Pantaleo Corvino, Stefano Trinchera and our president. I also thank every coach who worked with me during these three years and, above all, the incredible fans who always supported me in both the good and difficult moments. I wish you all the best. I will always follow Lecce." 💛❤️

His words reflected the deep connection he built with the city and its supporters, who quickly embraced the Albanian midfielder as one of their own.

A Leader in Lecce's Midfield

Since arriving from Aberdeen in August 2023, Ramadani established himself as one of Lecce's most consistent performers.

Known for his relentless work rate, tactical intelligence and leadership, he became the heartbeat of the midfield and one of the team's most dependable players during their battle for Serie A survival.

During the demanding 2025–26 Serie A season, Ramadani finished as the player who covered the most distance in the entire league, underlining his extraordinary physical commitment and professionalism.

More Than 100 Appearances

Ramadani leaves Lecce having surpassed 100 official appearances in all competitions, becoming one of the club's most important figures over the past three seasons.

Despite Lecce extending his contract until 2027, the opportunity to continue his career in Turkey convinced the Albanian international to accept Çorum FK's proposal.

Reports from Italy indicate that, unlike teammate Antonino Gallo, who is still evaluating the Turkish club's interest, Ramadani immediately welcomed the move, allowing negotiations to progress quickly.

A New Challenge in Turkey

Çorum FK, recently promoted and ambitious to establish itself in Turkish football, sees Ramadani as an experienced leader capable of bringing stability, quality and leadership to the squad.

For the Albanian midfielder, the transfer represents another important chapter in a career that has taken him from Albania to Denmark, Croatia, Scotland, Italy and now Turkey.

A Farewell, Not a Goodbye

While Ramadani's adventure in Lecce is coming to an end, his bond with the club and its supporters will remain.

He leaves with the respect of teammates, coaches and fans, having given everything for the Giallorossi shirt.

As he begins a new journey with Çorum FK, one thing is certain:

Lecce is losing one of its hardest-working warriors, while Turkish football is gaining a proven leader whose commitment has never been questioned. 💛❤️🇦🇱
